Description
The USG respectfully requests our industry partners help us maintain the integrity of this analysis by following the guidelines and process for seeking clarification. Several questions have been asked of outside organizations that are not responsible for the study or data analysis. Please ensure that all questions are electronically submitted to the Contracting officer using the email AASRFI@peoavn.army.mil. The following Question and Answer is provided: Question: Can you help clarify the USG's intent to instrument the aircraft for the VFD? Answer: During the one-on-one industry day engagements, several OEMs mentioned that their demonstration aircraft were already instrumented and asked for clarification as to the Army's desire for adding additional instrumentation. Subsequent to Industry Day, the USG made arrangements with each OEM desiring to conduct a demonstration to discuss the instrumentation package installed and the data elements to be collected. The outcome of these discussions will include additional instrumentation, if necessary, as well as the data elements the USG has interest in collecting. Each OEM will be informed of the USG's desire at these discussions. Releasibility of Attached ICD: A releasability statement is contained in the attached ICD which restricts dissemination of the ICD; however, releasibility has been authorized by HQDA DAM-CIC, 400 Army Pentagon, Washington DC 20310 for the purposes of responding to this RFI.
