- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Shaft, Control Surface in accordance with drawing 2820803- dash 2 (Dash 2 Only), Rev E and associated specifications. Requirement includes a preproduction lot quantity of 1 EA to be delivered for first article testing and acceptance at NUWC Keyport, WA. Upon first article testing acceptance a production lot quantity of 9 EA will be authorized. Requirement also includes (1) option quantitie of 10 EA. Option may or may not be exercised. The government anticipates award of one (1) firm fixed price type contract. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating for this requirement is DO-C9E. The procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332710 and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Requirements and evaluation procedures will be listed in the solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned prior to the solicitation closing date and time. Drawings referenced in the solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Act and are ONLY available to vendors/contractors appointed data custodian that are registered with Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at ww.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Restricted drawings and technical information are available through FedBizOpps. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars will be included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that solicitation N00253-12-T-0182 will be available on or about 29 June 2012. The solicitation closing date is anticipated to be 10 days after the issuance of the solicitation package. The actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation.
