Sources Sought Only. The Veterans Medical Center Hampton, VA is seeking potential sources capable of providing all labor (except for those specifically stated to be Government-Furnished), management and supervision necessary to provide Shuttle Services at the Salisbury VA Medical Center, 1600 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury NC 28144. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. 1.General: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1600 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury NC 28144 has a requirement for SHUTTLE Services to alleviate the parking problems experienced by our veteran patients at the facility. Approximately 1400 outpatients are seen per day. In addition there are approximately 1,700 employees per day. The amount of available parking spaces to accommodate patients, staff, volunteers and visitors on any given day is limited. The need is for a contractor to provide shuttle drivers to transport patients/visitors, and employees from parking lots located on the medical center grounds to the various buildings. 2.Requirements: Contractor will operate (2) 10 passenger shuttles in a circular pattern around the medical center grounds, stopping at shuttle stops throughout the parking lots and transport passengers to the various buildings located on medical center property. Each driver will appropriately greet all persons entering the shuttle. Shuttle stops are to be determined by VA Police service and Facilities management. 3.Hours of Operation: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm - Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a Federal holiday. There may be special events at the Medical Center on some Federal holidays and the contractor will provide limited hours of operation on those days. The Medical Center will give the contractor a minimum of one-week advance notice of such events. Contract Performance Period will be a Base + 4 Option periods, starting from date of award through August 31, 2017. The Applicable NAICS code is 485410 with a Size Standard of $14.0M. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Please provide a Capability Statement to this sources sought notice to include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not your firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing Shuttle Services. Provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement.
