- Description
- The U.S. Army Reserves currently has a requirement for grounds maintenance (landscaping) at the United States Army Reserve Center (USARC) located in Orangeburg, NY. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, safety equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform all operations and services in accomplishing grounds maintenance operations. The contractor will be required to provide a schedule of services for mowing that will be conducted twice a month from September to September. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be 26-Sep-2012 to 25-Sep-2013 with 2 option years. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small businesses utilizing NAICS 561730 (Landscaping Services). The small business size standard for this NAICS is $7M. A solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about 13-Jun-2012 with an anticipated award date of 30-Jun-2012. Simplified acquisition procedure found at FAR part 13 will be utilized for this requirement. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer is the lowest price that is found to be technically acceptable. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered with the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) found at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. Representations and certifications must also be completed before award and can be done so at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Payments for the resulting contract will be made through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Contractors can register for WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
