- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, oxygen support and equipment, including but not limited to all qualified staff where applicable or necessary to support training administered by U.S. Navy EOD personnel. Aircraft Support: Provide a Skyvan SC7 or aircraft of comparable capability with a minimum of sixteen (16) hours and maximum of fifty (50) hours flight time during each ten day event. Vertical Wind Tunnel Usage: Provide a 14-foot vertical wind tunnel with qualified tunnel instructor and a minimum of ten (10) maximum hours and twenty (20) hours of VWT usage during each ten day event. Canopy Control Instructor: Period of instruction will be the first 5 days of each ten day event. The Contractor ™s facilities shall 1) be located in a temperate climate with a consistently high percentage of jumpable weather, 2) have airspace compatible with HALO/HAHO drops from 25,000 feet MSL, and 3) have an AMC approved DZ (drop zone) listed on the AMC Zone Availability Report (ZAR). The DZ elevation shall not exceed 2,000 feet MSL. Contractor shall provide oxygen servicing facility on site Training shall be scheduled for ten (10) workdays. Jumps will be scheduled for a ten workday period from Monday to Friday. Training sessions will take place with variable hours including evening hours during which times the contractor shall have the aircraft ready for operation. The Contractor shall also provide for one (1) day check-in and two (2) days downtime which shall be distinct from the ten (10) workday schedules. Check-in and downtimes plus the scheduled workdays shall be for a total of thirteen (13) calendar days which shall be equivalent to one (1) event. The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to begin upon contract award and continue through twelve (12) months thereafter, plus four (4) option years.
