Description
This Sources Sought notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it does not commit the Government to solicit or award an order now or in the future. No solicitation is available at this time. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to identify qualified and interested sources that could provide the services stated. All businesses, large and small, capable of performing the requirement indicated below are encouraged to respond to this notice. The information requested by this notice will be used within the Department of State (DOS) to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the Government. The Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security's Boston Field Office (DS/BFO) is looking for secured parking. The Boston Field Office's address is 10 Causeway St, Suite 1001, Boston, Massachusetts 02222. BFO requires 13 (13) secured indoor parking spaces within half of a mile walking distance from the BFO. The space is required for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Parking must be in a secured structure with 24-hour surveillance and/or parking staff monitoring the garage. The parking garage will designate specific reserved parking spaces for USG employees/personnel. Should a future requirement and a subsequent combined synopsis notice evolve from this preliminary planning process; 1. The anticipated period of performance will be one (1) Base Year with up to four (4) possible Option Years. 2. The anticipated contract type will be firm-fixed price. Sources that have the ability to provide the parking services are asked to respond to this notice with a corporate capability statement. 1. Company name and address; 2. Points of contact including phone numbers and e-mail addresses; 3. Company cage code and DUNS; 4. Business size, large or small business, and if small indicate what types of small business concern (I.E. EDWOSB, hubzone, 8(a), woman-owned...); 5. Details of the proposed parking facility (I.E. location, distance from BFO). 6. What form of security do you have in place at your structure? 7. Would you be able to guaranty availability of the required amount of spaces (13) at all times? ***All questions and capability statements must be received by 3:00pm EST, Tuesday, June 19th, 2012.***
