Description

This contract consists of painting all previously painted exterior surfaces of the Chief Factor's House, including the veranda rail, metal porch roof supports, flowerbed fence lines, and breezeway. There is an option for additional work under this contract to paint the exteriors of the Bake House and the Counting House. All work will be performed under a single Firm-Fixed Price construction contract subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: The buildings are located at 1001 East 5th Street, Vancouver, WA. Maps and information about the site is at www.nps.gov/fova. We encourage you to attend the site visit in late June (details will be provided in the Request for Quotations, in Section L of the Clauses document). SOLICITATION DETAILS: This is a best value procurement set-aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR 19.5. The NAICS code for this project is 238320 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million, average annual gross receipts for the past three years. Payment protection will be required if the award exceeds $30,000. All offerors must establish and/or maintain an active registration at http://www.ccr.gov and complete the online representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to the RFQ closing date. The electronic Request for Quotations will be available on approximately June 15, 2012, at www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification for this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
