Description
06/13/2012, THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The NCO 19, Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there are sufficient numbers of qualified: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses; Veteran Owned Small Businesses; or Small or emerging small businesses to set aside a single or multiple award contract (s). The U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Centers throughout VISN 19 has a requirement for digital dictation, traditional and correction editing medical transcription services using vendor-supplied dictation equipment. The Prime vendor awarded the contract shall be responsible for 100% computer storage, security and management of all dictation received from the Agency and shall be able to access information and record kept on this system at all times. Under no circumstances will this part of contract performance be subcontracted. Currently facilities within VISN 19 use a variety of dictation equipment, including telephone lines, Dictaphone equipment and IPAQs. The awarded contractor(s) shall provide all management, personnel, security clearance, space and equipment (supplies, tools, materials, parts, hardware, software and toll-free telephone numbers) to all facilities for which services are awarded for purposes of performing medical transcription services as stated herein. Services shall be performed at the contractor ™s place of business, outside of the premises of participating VA Medical Centers. The contractor will meet the standards of the Joint Commission (JC) during the period of the contract, to include any option years that may be exercised. Telephone Systems: Each participating VAMC utilizes the following telephone systems: a)VAMC Sheridan Wyoming “ NEC NEAX2400 with IMS, configuratio & 6220 software. b)VAMC Salt Lake City, Utah “ Siemens ™ Model 9751 c)VAMC Grand Junction, Colorado “ ALCATEL PCX 4400 d)VAMC Cheyenne, Wyoming “ ALCATEL PCX e) VAMC Denver, Colorado - NEC IPX 2400 PBX This service shall be provided on behalf of the Eastern Colorado VA Health Care System (ECHCS), 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO 80220; VAMC Cheyenne, Wyoming, VAMC Grand Junction, Colorado; VAMC Salt Lake City, Utah; and VAMC Sheridan Wyoming. All interested businesses who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category and NAICS for which they qualify. Please forward all correspondence to Steven R. Gardner, U.S VA Contracting Officer no later than 1700 hours MT, (Mountain Time), 21 June 2012. Solicitation VA-259-12-R-0264 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Codes applicable for this acquisition are 561320 and the small business size standard is $13.5; and NAICS Code 561410 and the small business size standard is $7.0. Interested businesses/vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
