- Description
- Whiteman AFB, MO has a requirement for a firm fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for various roofing type projects. The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment necessary to accomplish these tasks. Projects may include, but are not limited to removal and disposal of existing roofing (and related deteriorated sheet-metal work and carpentry items) including mineral surface and asphalt strip shingle roofing, mineral surface fiberglass strip shingle roofing, built up roofing, standing seam metal roofing, single-ply and sheet metal roofing and roof insulation. Replacement, with the same types of roofing as applicable. Repair and/or replacement of existing skylights, roof drains, deteriorated wood fascia, roof framing, roof sheathing and decking, steel roof deck, construction of gable type roof over flat top carports and other items of carpentry work used in conjunction with roofing and all work incidental thereto; all in accordance with specifications. The period of performance for this IDIQ contract will be a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The request for proposal will be solicited as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The maximum contract value shall be $15M, over the five year period. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 with a small business size standard of $15M. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value of the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page; paper copies will not be made available. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. The solicitation is anticipated to be available 26 June 2012. It is your responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities web page for changes to this announcement.
