Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. It is not a solicitation. The purpose of this notice is for market research to gain knowledge of qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 561720, size standard $16.5M. The Government will use responses to this synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22 is seeking sources to provide janitorial services for the Temecula Vet Center in Temecula, CA. The area to be maintained is approximately 3,445 square feet. Service will be required for a portion of each day Monday through Friday. A firm fixed price contract consisting of a base year with the option to renew for two additional years is anticipated. Interested parties are invited to respond to this notice. Responses should include company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, email address, DUNS number, and size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (4) Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified service disabled veteran owned small or veteran owned small business? Email responses to Evelyn McKenna at evelyn.mckenna@va.gov or fax 562-961-1357 no later than June 16, 2012 at 3:30 PM PST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder's list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice.
