Description

The Library of Congress intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Unit Priced contract for The Financial Times. The minimum needs of the Library of Congress and the Office of Scholarly Programs to purchase advertising with the Financial Times that will reach approximately 806,000 readers to announce this year's Kluge Prize in its July 10 issue of both the US and European editions to reach a targeted audience of scholars and academics. The contract will be awarded to: The Financial Times 1023 15th Street NW Suite 700 Washington, DC 20005 This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Quote. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. Additionally, no award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Market research was previously conducted and it has been determined this is a sole source requirement per FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services within five (5) days of this publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
