Description

Naval Air Warfare Training System Division (NWACTSD) intends to issue a bridge extension contract up to nine months for the Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract N61339-03-D-5017 Delivery Order 0020 that was awarded to D. P. Associates, Inc. This contract provides Revision and Maintenance (R&M) support for FA-18 Fleet Replacement aircrew and fleet users courseware at the following sites: Naval Air Station (NAS), Lemoore, CA; NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA; Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, CA. The purpose of this extension and contract value increase is to provide support while a new contract is in the process of re-solicitation and award. The proposed bridge extension would add an additional period of performance to the F/A-18 R&M contract from September 1, 2012 to May 31. The total estimated cost plus fixed fee will be increased by $2.5M. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Justification and Approval will be published once reviewed/redacted.
