Description
The Vancouver Campus of the Portland VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Service line, is seeking the following professional Services: Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for services described here and in other specific tasks as further defined by this request. 1)Remove/recover existing refrigerant and test acidity for moisture. 2)Provide and replace 30 ton compressor. 3)Remove and recycle old compressor. 4)Provide and replace associated gaskets and o-rings. 5)Provide and install motor cooling line filter drier and isolation valve. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals for the above services. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA260-12-Q-1115. Cascading set-aside procedures will be in effect, reviewing SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a)/HubZone, and Small Business sources respectively. A determination will be made by the Contracting Officer as to the adequacy of sources in any of the aforementioned categories to meet the "Rule of Two." If there are not sufficient sources in any of the aforementioned categories then the field will be open to all Businesses. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (334512) is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of quotations. The solicitation will result in the award of a single service order. The resulting service order will be one of a firm fixed-price.
