Description
EMERGENCY LODGING SERVICES THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY for the purpose of conducting Market Research. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. For information purposes, a summary Scope of Work is included as a part of this posting. The Vicksburg District Contracting Office is soliciting services from all qualified and interested firms for the purpose of making appropriate acquisition decisions with regard to set-aside and/or small business participation, which may result in solicitation for award. SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK: The U.S. Army corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District has a requirement for the service of quickly securing accommodations, housing and ancillary services for USACE federal employees, support personnel and any other authorized user. Accommodations will encompass the full range of safe, secure lodging/housing domestically and/or internationally. The outcome of this support will also provide safe, affordable lodging/housing in a cost-effective manner. The contractor must be able to provide housing support during small to catastrophic disasters which may require a large-scale housing delivery. The actual number of room nights is dependent upon various factors including the number, magnitude, frequency and duration of these emergency disaster events and cannot be determined at this time. The locations will include Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit capability and/or statements consisting of appropriate technical information, documentation, literature, brochures and past performance references. Respondents must include references for at least two completed or current missions for which your firm was the prime contractor (or a major subcontractor) within the last three years. Each reference shall include contact names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, contract numbers as well as a description of the services provided, contract type (i.e. fixed price or BPA) and dollar value. The documentation submitted for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company's capability to demonstrating existing or developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material the contractor feels may further demonstrate their capability may also be submitted with the requested documentation. The documents are not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Vicksburg Contracting Office in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the Government's analysis of capabilities. Electronic submissions via email will be accepted. Facsimile submissions will not be accepted.
