Description

The purpose of this notice is to announce the award of a single-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Real Time Location System (RTLS), awarded from solicitation #VA118A-12-RP-0118. The maximum amount of the contract is $543M. The total integrated RTLS solution will track and identify the location of assets in real-time, using badges and tags attached to objects. It includes Wi-Fi based location finding, active and passive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and a number of other location technologies, including ultrasound and infrared. The scope of the contract includes hardware, software, documentation, and incidental services. Incidental services include training, installation, warranty, maintenance and technical engineering services. The contract includes a five year ordering period from the date of award The name and address of the successful offeror and other information relative to this acquisition is listed below: a.Number of proposals received: Six (6) b.Award was made to: HP Enterprise Services, LLC 13600 EDS Dr. Herndon, VA 201713225 The contract awarded under this solicitation was based upon the best overall (i.e. best value) proposal determined to be the most beneficial to the Government in accordance with the evaluation approach set forth in the solicitation.
