- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment,and constructing the Item 616-L / 543-L, Seepage Control, in Bolivar and Washington Counties, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, ramp embankment, semicompacted clay fill, berm backfill, berm (sand fill), berm cap, berm excavation, disposal material excavation, dike excavation, ditch excavation, stone ditch protection, mowing, turfing, erosion control matting, relief wells, crushed stone levee surfacing, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 22 June 2012. Bid Opening date and time: 24 July 2012, 1430 hours.
