Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Apple, Inc; 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA 95014 for the procurement of additionally needed 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC RDIMM SDRAM-1x8GB (Part Number MC850G/A) for existing systems. Based on market research, Apple, Inc is the only source for Part Number MC850G/A. This memory cannot be purchased through a reseller. As a result, it has been determined that only this additional memory required can be provided by Apple, Inc. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
