Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-12-Q-2142. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58 dated 18 May 2012. NAICS code is 334515. Size standard is 500 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Quantity 2 “ Krohn-Hite Part # 3930 10-channel Signal Conditioner Quantity 10 “ Krohn-Hite Part #3930-EL8 Filter/Amplifier Card Quantity 2 “ Krohn-Hite Part # RK-817 Rack Mount with rack slides Quantity 2 “ Krohn-Hite System Test Data Required delivery is 75 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Krohn-Hite Corporation as they are the only known source because they are the vendor that custom built the Signal Distribution System. All other timely offers will be considered. Offiers for other products must contain complete information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: none. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies.
