- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the Office of Acquisitions, Management, and Policy (OAMP) intends to post a solicitation for its requirement titled, "Update and Maintenance of Health Workforce Projection Models". This requirement involves construction of new health workforce supply and demand projection models as well as maintenance of existing models across a variety of health professions including medicine, nursing, oral health, and allied health. The models will also be applied to generate projections under a variety of scenarios, and reports suitable for public consumption detailing the models, methods, and results will be produced. Contractor will be required to, in the base year of the contract: 1. Submit revisions to the original project timeline 2. Submit EV/Monthly Status Reports 3. Conduct monthly conference calls with the COR 4. Submit a report of data and methods recommendations for base year modeling efforts 5. Develop and submit draft models and documentation for cross-occupations supply and demand projections (covering approximately 30 professions) 6. Develop and submit draft models and documentation for oral health projections 7. Submit final models and documentation for cross-occupation and oral health projections 8. Submit draft report on cross-occupation projections 9. Submit draft report on oral health projections 10. Submit final reports 11. Conduct a close-out meeting and Power Point presentation Option years of the contract require maintenance of the cross-occupations models, BHPr clinician specialty supply and demand models, and BHPr nursing models as well as construction of models for allied health professions including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech/Language Pathology. Qualified contractors must satisfy the following minimum requirements. Provide a detailed description of your company's experience and demonstrated abilities to deliver each and every one (address each separately) of the following requirements: 1. Expertise in health workforce analysis and policy 2. Expertise in designing workforce projection models 3. Programming and IT capabilities needed to support model construction and maintenance 4. Experience constructing reports and narratives around projections, including policy implications 5. Experience managing the contractual reporting requirements for IT contracts A firm fixed price contract is anticipated, for one base year and three option years. This is a new requirement. The period of performance for the requirement shall be for a period of a base period of twelve (12) months with three (3) twelve (12) month option periods. The solicitation number 12-250-SOL-00146 and any documents relating to this requirement will only be available through the internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Offerors are encouraged to sign-up, on the fedbizopps.gov website, for email notification of all actions relevant to this solicitation, and on the interested vendors list, also listed at the bottom of this announcement. The anticipated date for release of a solicitation is approximately 15 days from the date of this notice. No questions will be entertained at this time. Once the solicitation is released, offerors will be given an opportunity to ask questions and answers will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov.
