- Description
- This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contractor shall provide all supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, labor, resources and management necessary to perform the following work: * Remove and properly dispose of all old existing ceiling tiles and grid. * Furnish and install new ceiling tiles and grid. Approximately 5800 SF will be required. Contractor to determine quantity prior to quoting the job, as no allowance will be made for any additional quantities required. * Remove and properly dispose of all old existing light fixtures * Furnish and install new light fixtures. 80 light fixtures will be required. * Remove and properly dispose of all old existing HVAC registers. * Furnish and install new HVAC registers and tie to existing duct (to remain). Approximately 35 HVAC grilles will be required. Contractor to determine quantity prior to quoting the job, as no allowance will be made for any additional quantities required. * Furnish and install R13 insulation above ceiling. Location of Work The Natchez Trace Headquarters is located at milepost 266 on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tupelo, MS. The Contractor will be required to provide a complete and finished job and to meet current building codes. A site visit is required prior to submitting a quote. Only bidders who make a site visit will be considered. Site visits can be arranged by contacting: Yancey Davis, Contracting Officer at 662-680-4044. The project is divided into four separate work areas. Note that the government may award any combination of these areas, and may not award all of these areas. The government reserves the right to evaluate bids for multiple awards. Magnitude of this project is expected to be between $25,000 to $50,000. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 238990 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. Contractors must also be registered through www.ccr.gov; and www.orca.gov. Contract award will be based on the best value to the government (Lowest Price- Technically Acceptable). This notice is not the solicitation, the solicitation will be posted on or about June 12, with original bids due on June 26th, 2012. Bids shall be mailed to: Yancey Davis, Contracting Officer, 2680 Natchez Trace Parkway, Tupelo, MS 38804. The solicitation, and specifications will be available for download at www.fedbizopps.gov. Amendments will not be mailed but will also be posted at the FedBizOpps website. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments pertaining to this solicitation prior to the established due date for bids. All requests for information regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at Yancey_Davis@nps.gov The Bid form is available at the website by clicking on the "printer friendly form" link. The remainder of the solicitation (including all pertinent attachments) is available at the site by clicking on the link "clauses and attachments," which is located in the blue box near the middle of the screen.
