Description

The Army Contracting Command-Redstone proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis Reduced Sizes of Crashworthy External Fuel Systems (RCEFS) and Internal Auxiliary Fuel Systems (IAFS). The Government plans to utilize a firm fixed price contract for this effort. This is a sole source requirement to Robertson Fuel Systems, L.L.C. (Robertson), 800 West Carver Rd. Suite 101, Tempe, AZ 85284-5264, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 1T765. Robertson is the only source capable of manufacturing the RCEFS, IAFS and their components. A technical data package for full and open competition is not available within the Government for this procurement. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii), 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.'
