- Description
- The proposed contract action will be offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Basis of award will be a competitive, 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside acquisition per FAR Part 15, Best Value/Source Selection, utilizing Tradeoff procedures that include past performance and cost/price as evaluation factors. The approximate Request for Proposal (RFP) issue date will be 02 July 2012 with an approximate response date of 06 August 2012. The Basic contract period will be from 01 February 2013 - 31 January 2014 with four (4) 12 month option periods from 01 February 2014 - 31 January 2018. This acquisition will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursement-No Fee (CRNF) contract types. This acquisition requires the following Contract Line Items (CLINs) in support of the Special Operations Wing (SOW) in Harrisburg, PA. Contractor Logistics Support (to include Warehouse Management, Warehouse Operating Expense and Item Management): FFP Replenishment Spare and Repair Support (to include Priced Spares, Priced Repairs, Unpriced Spares, Unpriced Repairs and Material Add-on Factor in Support of Obsolete Assets): FFP Data In Accordance With (IAW) DD Forms 1423-1: FFP Travel and Per Diem: CRNF Transition: FFP For the purpose of this requirement, the Contractor shall establish staff and manage a local warehouse (Harrisburg, PA, or immediate vicinity) for supply support of all Commando Solo Special Mission Equipment (SME) and aircraft unique components and sub-assemblies, within 30 days after contract award. The Government will provide warehouse racks, non-stock listed equipment and office furniture. The Government will supply a Government Furnished Inventory (GFI) management database for use to manage warehouse 60 days after contract award.
