This presolicitation notice is amended to reflect the following changes: 1.The Presolicitation notice VA249-12-B-0055 dated May 4, 2012 is deleted in its entirety and replaced as follows: 2.The Project number for this procurement action is #581-12-106 3.The Project name is Resurface Roads/Parking Lots &Improve Surface Runoff 4.The Contracting Officer and Primary Point of Contact(POC)for all questions, inquiries and submission of bids must be sent to: Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contract Office (NCO) 9 Robley Rex VA Medical Center c/o: Roxie Ann Keese, Contract Officer 800 Zorn Avenue Louisville, Kentucky 40206 RE: VA249-12-B-0055 Roxie.Keese@va.gov (email) (502) 287.6108 (office) (502) 287.6115(fax) 5.The classification of this project is changed from "Y" to "Z" 6.The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 237310 and the small business size standard is $33.5M 7.The construction price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. 8.Specific information regarding last day for questions, receipt of bids/offers, organized site visit will be made available at such time that the solicitation is publicized for download at www.fbo.gov. 9.The solicitation will be made available for download on or by June 15, 2012. 10.The Huntington VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia has a requirement for construction period services to resurface roads, parking lots and improve surface runoff areas on the medical center campus located at 1540 Spring Valley Drive. The intent of this project is to resurface deteriorated roadways, restripe faded road lines and parking spaces, miscellaneous patching of asphalt surfaces, construction of new 16 space parking lot. Additional work includes excavation and repairing of leaking water line, that expedited deteriorating road conditions. A new concrete dumpster pad will be provided, and miscellaneous piping modification to a concrete sink by a loading dock. Additionally, a small slip caused by a damaged storm line erosion will be repaired, and new rip-rap at storm outlets will also be addressed in this requirement.
