Description
The United States Air Force intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems North America Inc., Bothell, WA, a large business, for Preventative Maintenance Agreement (PMA) for Digital Diagnostic Single Detector, S/N #7010130, Model Number 989000002408, SUPPORT Service Agreement, Manufacturer - Philips. Period of Performance: Base year and 4 one-year option years. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Small Business size standard is $19.0 million dollars. This purchase will enable the Medical Clinic to maintain a highly utilized equipment to meet the needs of their medical patients. The Government intends to award a firm -fixed price contract. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is: 1 October 2012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based on only one source providing full compatibility to existing equipment currently in use. Responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
