- Vicinity Map Map 7 Map 6 Map 5 Map 4 Map 3 Map 2 Map 1 Exhibits Solicitation Document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service from eligible small business firms for precommercial tree thinning and tree planting on the Soda Springs and Montpelier Ranger Districts, Caribou-Targhee National Forest. This project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals necessary to perform all work necessary to accomplish precommercial tree thinning and planting in the areas specified. A formal site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Participants shall meet at the Soda Springs Ranger District at 410 East Hooper Avenue in Soda Springs, Idaho at 9:30am. Quotes are due at 3:00pm MST, June 29, 2012. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency. Delivery Date: Work is estimated to being on July 10, 2012. Quotes are due by 3:00 p.m., June 29, 2012, at IDAWY Acquisition Service Center, 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83401, ATTN: Kellie Shaw. Fax quotes WILL NOT be accepted.
