Description

N0016112RC16703 The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Office in Philadelphia intends to acquire Superflow dynamometer parts as follows: Engine Dynamometer SE250 1 Each, Engine Dynamometer SE400 1 Each, Drive Shaft Guard ENG1 2 Each, Drive Shaft High Speed DTS DS15 2 Each, Engine Cart DTS DCS 2 Each, Dyno Base Mount ENG 1b 2 Each, Eddy Current Control and Cable 2 Each, Drive Shaft Adapter Plate ENG 1c 2 Each. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Hicklin, Inc. is the only known source that can provide these units. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm fixed price contact will be awarded as a result of this quotation. Note 22 applies. This requirement in support of the US Naval Academy, Washington DC is processed under FAR Parts 12 and 15.
