Description
The Center for Health Care Contracting - Medical Command Acquisition Activity, Contracting-Information Technology Branch, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234, intends to issue a solicitation as a competitive 100% 8(a) set-aside for Enterprise Network Information Technology (IT) Support of the United States Army Medical Network Operations and Security Center (MEDNOSC) for the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Enterprise located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A Firm-Fixed-Price, Single Award Contract under NAICS Code 541513 is anticipated for a period of performance not to exceed 56 months, which will consist of an eight-month (8) month base period, and four twelve (12) month option years. Award will be made to the best value proposal, which is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government based on the criteria set forth in the solicitation. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) W81K04-12-R-0040 will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry website https://acquisition.army.mil on or around 14 June 2012, with proposals due on or about 14 July 2012. At the bottom of the page, click on the link to Attachments. Download the solicitation as an MS Word attachment. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. Proposals shall be submitted in hard copy form only. No electronic submission of proposals will be accepted. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Difficulties accessing the ASFI should be directed to the ASFI team via e-mail at ASFI@redstone.army.mil.
