Description

This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside at the Denver Veteran Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver Colorado, 80222. This is a pre-solicitation notice for the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision and materials to provide Design/Build Services design to 100% construction documents on all 16 line items and provide separate construction pricing proposals for each line item. Not all construction items may be determined to be done depending on funding. The contractor is responsible to determine how the work is to be accomplished and request shutdowns as needed. Final scheduling and phasing requirements will be coordinated with COR during design. Offsets in piping are to be replaced both elevation and directional. Stop Work Orders may be issued to accomplish work items in the time frame described. All work must comply with the VA standard specifications that apply. Drawings and specifications must be submitted and approved before any work can take place. All materials must be submitted and approved. As-Built AutoCAD drawings will be required. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The project number for this acquisition is 554-11-815. The Solicitation is expected to be issued on or about June 15, 2012. The closing date of the solicitation is expected to be on or about July 17, 2012. Evaluation criteria will be stated in the Solicitation. NAICS Code 237110 is applicable to this acquisition with and the business size standard is $33.5M. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on or about April 27, 2012 at FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Information regarding an organized site visit and pre-proposal conference will be listed in the solicitation documents. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend the organized site visit to familiarize themselves with the project, project site and conditions which may affect your cost proposal. Only one site visit will be conducted. Upon review of solicitation documents, prospective offerors are encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing, in regards to the solicitation prior to the scheduled site visit. Solicitation number VA-259-12-R-0412 has been assigned and shall be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement and solicitation. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR Part 4.11, prospective contractors are required to have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and FAR Part 4.12, prospective contractors must complete electronic on line annual representations and certifications (ORCA) databases prior to award of a contract. Both can be accessed at the Business Partner Network (BPN) website at http://www.bpn.gov/. SDVOSB concerns must be active and registered at http://www.vetbiz.gov/ to be eligible to receive award.
