- High Meadows Restoration Heavy Equipment Rental. This project is set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 532412. The small business size standard is no greater than $7.0 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that represent or certify (https://orca.bpn.gov/) themselves to meet both Total Small Business and this size standard will be considered. The intent of this contract is to select a contractor that will provide the High Meadows Restoration Project with the required Heavy Equipment. The rental contract will be for a 14 week period beginning July 02, 2012 and ending October 05, 2012 with the possibility to extend the contract for 1 or more pieces of equipment at the monthly rate. The heavy equipment listed in this contract will be used in the construction of a stream and meadow restoration project. The project equipment drop off site is located at the pavements end of High Meadows Trail Road, which is off of Pioneer Trail Road in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Pioneer Trail is not a Designated Truck Route and High Meadows Trail is a Residential Street. The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, delivery, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government. The following list of 5 pieces of equipment are anticipated to be rented. Wheeled Loader, 2.7 cubic yard bucket minimum, 4 in1 bucket, enclosed cab with Air Conditioning (Cat 938 or equivalent). Approximately 3 months. Wheeled Loader, 2.7 cubic yard bucket minimum, 4 in1 bucket, enclosed cab with Air Conditioning (Cat 938 or equivalent). Approximately 2 ½ months. Excavator, 45,000 lb. Class, 42" bucket w/thumb, enclosed cab with Air Conditioning, Cat controls, (Cat 320 or equivalent. Approximately 3 months. Excavator, 28,000 lb. Class, 32" bucket w/thumb, enclosed cab w/AC, Cat controls, (Cat 314 or equivalent. Approximately 3 months. Articulated Truck w/load capacities in the 25,000 to 26,000 lb. range (Cat 75 or equivalent). Approximately 2 months. The solicitation package will be uploaded approximately June 14, 2012.
