- Description
- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - Project 556-304: construction of 4 (four) Green House Nursing Homes at the James A. Lovell Federal Healthcare Center, North Chicago, Illinois. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSBs). Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, components, labor and supervision for general construction of 4 (four) Green House Nursing Homes, as outlined in the contract specifications, and as shown on the contract drawings. Work is to be completed within 365 calendar days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to CVE Verified SDVOSB firms. The solicitation will be issued on/about July 6, 2012 with the bid opening on/about August 6, 2012. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOps which may be issued to this solicitation. There will be pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 million applies. Note: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center has moved to new offices. Our new address is 115 South 84th Street, 1st Floor, Milwaukee WI 53214-1476. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and must have current record in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to bid opening.
