- This PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE has been prepared in accordance with FAR PART 36.213-2. This requirement is available for FULL AND OPEN COMPETION under NAICS code 238350. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to replace approximately 1,600 railroad ties on the Cuyahoga Valley Railway. ESTIMATED RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. LOCATION: Cuyahoga Valley National Park, 15610 Vaughn Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141 ISSUANCE DATE: The anticipated issuance date of the solicitation is on or about June 27, 2012 (subject to change). The Period of Performance for this contract is 120 calendar days. Be advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during process based on decisions related to Department of the Interior (DOI) and National Park Service (NPS) priorities. AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION: The solicitation will be posted and available for download along with plans and/or specifications without charge at the National Business Center (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) on or about June 27, 2012. NO HARD COPY DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED. REQUEST DATE: Requests for copies of the upcoming solicitation should be submitted to the contract specialist by June 15, 2012, the close date of this presolicitation notice.
