Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Life Technologies Corporation, 3175 Staley Road, Grand Island, New York, 14072, for Invitrogen biologicals and chemicals to work in existing units at CDC: 11575-032, MEM-H, 1X, 500ml, 11360-070, MEM sodium pyruvate, 100ml; 11140-050, MEM nonessential amino acid, 100ml; 12100-061, DMEM powder, high glucose, 1x10L; 11995-081, DMEM 1X (6x 1L); 14190-250, DPBS, 500ml; 15630-106, HEPES, 1M, 20ml; 15140-122, Pen-Step, 100ml; 25030-081, L-Glutamine-200mM (100X); 25300-120, Trypsin-edta 0.05%, 100ml; 25300-062, Trypsin-edta, 0.05%, 500ml; 11875-135, RPMI, 1000ml; 25080-094, Sodium bicarbonate, 100ml; 11415-064, L15 500ml; and 11330-032, DMEM/F12 500 ml, plus shipping and dry ice. A portion of each will be shipped monthly for one year. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
