- Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Executive Office “ Land Systems anticipates issuing a Request For Proposal on or about 29 June 2012 with a response due date on or about 30 July 2012. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No proposals are being requested at this time. This will be a full and open competitive acquisition with no small business set-aside. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a one-year base and two (2) 6-month options in accordance with FAR Part 15. Description of services: The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), Assault Amphibious Vehicle Systems ™ (AAVS) Platform Director has a follow-on requirement to provide sustainment systems engineering, logistics services, and retrofit installer acquisition support to the AAVS Family of Vehicles (FOV). PM AAA intends to award a contract to: - Provide a standardized and documented method to receive, track and report on internal and fleet technical and supply assistance requests (Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) 339, Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Beneficial Suggestions (BENESUGGS)) - Develop and field Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and conduct prototyping in support of hardware configuration changes - Technical Manual verification and evaluation - Provide Technical Publications/Instructions updates to ensure Fleet Publication requirements and DoD electronic publication initiatives are properly complied with The Government plans to use the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov, as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging any information concerning this requirement. It is the responsibility of interested potential Offerors to monitor the Internet for the release of the final solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, Offeror(s) must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) site found at http://orcabpn.gov/ and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). No phone calls will be accepted.
