Description

Solicitation Number: N6328512SU891 Notice Type: Special Notice Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Foster & Freeman USA Inc.) located at 46030 Manekin Plaza Suite 170 Sterling VA 20166-6518 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The agencies requirement is for the purchase of 1.6 Crime Lite 2 Cased Set- UV Violet, Blue, Blue/green, green, white and Accessories 18 per each. Crime Lite 2 is a crime scene investigation light source that has an output of light equivalent to 275 watts to detect blood, body fluids, grease, chemical stains, hair, fibers, and latent fingerprints. Crime Lite 2 meets NCIS ™ requirement for portability, specificity of wavelength (with minimal bandwidth leakage) and brightness. NCIS requires its light source to output light over a very narrow waveband and not emit any light at other wavelengths. The light source must maintain a shadow-free, uniform beam illumination. In additional to light source output, NCIS requires each light to have certification showing that the peak wavelength is within +/- 5 nanometers of output.
