Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797P-12-RP-0022 for an unrestrictive procurement for IV Solutions and Administration Sets for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), Emergency Pharmacy Service, Strategic National Stockpile Division, and the IHS National Supply Center in Oklahoma City, OK and the IHS Alaska area. See attached products and estimated annual usage. Award(s) will be made by product group. The contract period will be for one year plus four pre-priced one-year option periods. The contracted products will be ordered by facilities through the VA PPV, and the contractor(s) shall deliver the awarded items directly to the ordering facilities. The VA PPV invoices the facility for products shipped, and the facility makes payment directly to the VA PPV. Therefore, the contractor must establish a 'pass through program' with the VA PPV. Emergency Pharmacy Service and Strategic National Stockpile Division will order the contracted products directly from the contractor(s). Offerors must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years, that will assure the offeror a source of supply sufficient to satisfy the Government's requirements. Solicitation # VA797P-12-RP-0022 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about June 5, 2012, with a tentative closing date of June 19, 2012. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
