Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire four (4) GPS, Low Noise Amplifiers, Filtered and applicable Non-Recurring Documentation for the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, DC. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a new firm fixed price purchase order to Teledyne KW Microwave. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Teledyne KW Microwave under authority of FAR 6.302(c) (1), only one responsible source capable of providing the required supplies that will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date (12:00pm EST, 01 June 2012) will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 334419 and the small business standard size is 500 employees.
