Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items from Yosemite National Park for the purchase of pumps prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P12PS24647 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). RFQ P12PS24647 may be viewed at 'http://www.fbo.gov'. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps and hard copies will not be mailed. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisision Circular 05-58. Award will be based on the low price and technical capability. This is a total small business set aside with NAICs code 423830. Vendor must do business under this NAICS code. The small business size standard is 100. Vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov to receive an award. SPECIFICATIONS: Secondary Digester Mix Pumps: Quantity 2 Unit Price $______ Total Cost $______ These pumps are used for mixing sludge from the secondary digester to ensure complete mixing for the sludge process. It is a vital step in the sludge digestion process, without proper mixing the digester could fail, would be costly and disrupt park operations. The horizontal chopper pumps shall be specifically designed to pump waste solids at heavy consistencies without plugging or dewatering the solids. Materials shall be chopped and conditioned by the pump as an integral part of the pumping action. The pump must have demonstrated the ability to chop through and pump high concentrations of solids such as; plastics, heavy rags, grease and hairballs, wood, paper products and stringy materials without plugging. Drive: 30 horsepower (hp), 1750 RPM 230/460 3 phase 60 hz Pump Performance: 400 gallons per minute (gpm) @ 90ft total dynamic head (TDH) Application: Digester mixing pump Secondary Digester Circulation Pumps: Quantity 2 Unite Price $______ Total Cost $______ These pumps are used for circulating sludge from the secondary digester through the boiler heat exchanger to ensure constant sludge heating for the sludge process. The horizontal chopper pumps shall be specifically designed to pump waste solids at heavy consistencies without plugging or dewatering the solids. Materials shall be chopped and conditioned by the pump as an integral part of the pumping action. The pump must have demonstrated the ability to chop through and pump high concentrations of solids such as; plastics, heavy rags, grease and hairballs, wood, paper products and stringy materials without plugging. Drive: 15 hp, 1750 RPM 230/460 3 phase 60 hz Pump Performance: 75 gpm @ 93ft TDH Application: Digester Circulation Pump Secondary Effluent Pumps: Quantity 3 Unit Price $______ Total Cost $______ These pumps are used for transferring wastewater from the secondary treatment process to the tertiary treatment process. It is a vital part of the tertiary operation to ensure proper treatment and disinfection as well as maintain the state of California discharge requirement. The horizontal chopper pumps shall be specifically designed to pump waste solids at heavy consistencies without plugging or dewatering the solids. Materials shall be chopped and conditioned by the pump as an integral part of the pumping action. The pump must have demonstrated the ability to chop through and pump high concentrations of solids such as; plastics, heavy rags, grease and hairballs, wood, paper products and stringy materials without plugging. Drive: 7.5 hp, 1170 RPM, 230/460 3 phase 60hz Pump Performance: 800 gpm @1 4ft TDH Application: Secondary Effluent Pump Primary Digester Circulation Pumps: Quantity 2 Unit Price $______ Total Cost $______ These pumps are used for circulating sludge from the Secondary digester through the boiler heat exchanger to ensure constant sludge heating for the sludge process. It is a vital step in the sludge digestion process. The horizontal chopper pumps shall be specifically designed to pump waste solids at heavy consistencies without plugging or dewatering the solids. Materials shall be chopped and conditioned by the pump as an integral part of the pumping action.
