Description

The Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, VA, intends to issue a sole source award to CEPHEID, 904 CARIBBEAN DRIVE, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 for the purchase of a GenXpert Infinity analyzer. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 12. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. EST on May 31, 2012. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to amy.pitts@va.gov with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
