Description
The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to negotiate and award under the Commercial Items (Part 12) a purchase order for an Engine Maintenance Program and Logistics Support Services for two (2) AE2100A gas turbine engines installed on a Saab 2000 aircraft owned and operated by JPATS, with Rolls Royce, 2001 S. Tibbs Ave., Mail Code U-17, Indianapolis, IN 46241. The Engine Maintenance Program's includes scheduled and unscheduled shop visits, repair or replacement of engine line replaceable units and a replacement spare engine when one of the referenced engines experience an unscheduled failure or is scheduled for shop repairs; otherwise known or classified as 'Power-By-The-Hour' (PBTH) Programs. In addition, it includes developing and providing an engine management program (EMP), and providing appropriate levels of technical assistance and program management, all of which meet applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements for a commercial aviation entity. The period of performance will be from October 1, 2012 - September 30, 2013 with four (4) option years. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested and capable sources should respond to the POC, providing your capabilities and a brief synopsis of your ability to meet the support required not later than 12:00 pm (noon) EST, June 11, 2012.
