- This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a Small Business Set Aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 442110, size standard $7.0M. This is a best value award. The contractor shall provide the following items with the stated minimum requirements: Line Item 0001: Door Viewers 180 Degree Solid Brass Door Viewer should fit 1 3/8" thick door, 9/16" diameter housing, fire door rated UL glass lens, 180 degrees of viewing. QTY: 350 EA The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR). The following provisions and clauses also apply; DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, but only the following clauses in paragraph (b) of clause apply: 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; 252.247-7023 Transportation of Supplies by Sea ALTERNATE III (MAY 2002); 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman (Apr 2010). Oral Quotes will not be accepted. Quotes must be received via e-mail by Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. (GMT+ 10). All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. All proposals must be directly submitted by the firm registered in CCR that is intended to be the successful awardee. Proposal submitted by another firm on behalf of a CCR registered company with the intention of being award "care of" will not be accepted. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable.
