Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract consisting of a twelve (12) month base period, to Acuitus, Inc, 1891 Page Mill Road, Suite 200, Palo Alto, CA 94304, a Small Business pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" to conduct a pilot program to produce immediately employable and technically qualified Veteran Information Technology (IT) personnel utilizing Acuitus' Digital Tutor software tool. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541712. The estimated date of award for this action is July 31, 2012. This notification shall close on Friday June 1, 2012.
