THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CHANGE THE APPLICABLE RFP SOLICITATION NUMBER FROM VA241-12-R-0679 TO VA241-12-Q-0678. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE PROCUREMENT. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED IN THE ECMS VENDOR PORTAL ONLY AND VENDOR'S MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE ECMS VENDOR PORTAL TO RECEIVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION. (See below) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VISN 1 Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to issue a Request for Proposal to award a single firm fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to Replace Boiler #3 Tube as described in the solicitation specifications and drawings. This project will be located at VAMC Togus, 1 VA Center, Augusta, ME 04330. The RFQ solicitation with all pertinent documents will be published to the eCMS VENDOR PORTAL in or about 7 calendar days from the posting of this notice. All respondents must be registered in the Vendor Portal to receive the RFQ solicitation and all pertinent documents. A guide has been attached to assist you in registering with the Vendor Portal. All respondents must also be registered in CCR database at (http://www.ccr.gov) and be verified by the VA's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) at the time of submission of offer and at time of award located at (http://vetbiz.gov). Vendors must also complete the online representations and certifications at (http://orca.bpn.gov). Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on the Vendor Portal and all parties must obtain copies of the amendments thru this website. Hard copies of any documents will not be mailed. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to Maureen.Jackson@va.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. A pre-proposal/site visit will be announced in the solicitation documents. The date for receipt of offers will be announced in the solicitation documents. Electronic proposals will only be accepted. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $14 million. Cost range is between: $25,000.00 and $100,000.00
