Description

The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Parris Island, SC is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in support of market research efforts to identify potential suppliers for washer/extractors and dryers. In addition, turnkey installation is required. This RFI may be followed by a solicitation to support Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRDPI) operations. The attributes for the laundry equipment are listed in the attached file. It is anticipated that the existing equipment will be available for trade in. Responses to this RFI should not exceed ten (10) pages and must contain the following information: A)Models and types of laundry equipment that have the same or similar characteristics to the attributes provided in the attached file. A cross reference shall be provided that maps the attributes to the capabilities of the recommended equipment. Safety and Efficiency features shall be delineated. A)Supplier installation/rigging capabilities. B)Information required for trade in consideration. C)Identification of Large/Small Business size status along with a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS Number, and CAGE Code. Responses are due by 1300, Friday 1 June, 2012. Both e-mail and mail submittals will be accepted. Mailed responses should be sent to: Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Attn: Chad Dando, PO Box 5069, Bldg #159 Corregidor St., Parris Island, SC 29905-5069. Information is for planning purposes only and is issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
