- ITEM 0001: NSN: 5855-01-528-2743CX; IAW Purchase Description PD11WRGRVED10, Image Intensifier Set, Night Vision, provides imagery efficient for an aviator to complete night time missions down to straight and extreme lowlight conditions in military fixed wing aircraft. The AN/AVS-9 G-TG assembly will consist of the binocular, helmet mount, helmet modification kit, and the carrying case. The total weight of the binocular will be 550 grams. The combined weight of the binocular, helmet mount, helmet modification kit, and batteries will be 790 grams. Requirement is for 503 each (5 ea First Article and 498 ea production units) plus data associated with the First Article to include technical manual and technical data package in the basic year. Also included are 2 Option Periods. Option I is valid for 730 days, 1-100 each and Option II is valid for 1095 days, 1-100 each. Material: Various DELIVERY-ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for First Article and production units is FE4877, FE3300, FE4664, FE5270, FE4417, FE4460, FE6102, FE6401, FE6481, FE4830, FE6041, FE6122, FE6411, FE6431, FE6451, FE2805, FE4803, FE4855, FE6081, FE6325, FE5205, FE6201, FE4661, FE6371, and FE6242. First Article is due 30 days ARO approval of Test Inspection Report; Test Procedure is due 10 days ARO contract; Test Inspection Report is due 225 ARO contract. Delivery of options is 180 days after exercise of option. Location to be determined. PD11WRGRVED10 and drawings will be posted with the solicitation on FBO. The approximate RFP issue date will be June 11, 2012 with proposals due July 12, 2012. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All questions regarding the RFP and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Jarteau.Hodges@robins.af.mil with a copy to Tara.Odom@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
