- Statement of Work - RIBs Repairs This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); solicitation number is H92240-12-Q-9012. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58 effective 18 April 2012. This is a total small business set aside. North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 336612 with a standard business size of 500 employees applies to this procurement. Section B - Supplies or Services CLIN 0001: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0001 to include repairs for trailers. See attached statement of work (SOW). QTY: 2 trailers to include VIN# 1M9BS36308B817035 and 1M9BS36348B817037. CLIN 0002: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0002 to include boat preservation and hull work repairs, maintenance and upgrades for 11 meter rigid inflatable boats (RIBs). See attached SOW. QTY: 2 RIBs to include ID# 11MRIBAA00-063 and 11MRIBAA00-064. CLIN 0003: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0003 to include topside preservation repairs, maintenance and upgrades for 11 meter RIBs. See attached SOW. QTY: 2 RIBs to include ID# 11MRIBAA00-063 and 11MRIBAA00-064. CLIN 0004: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0004 to inlcude mechanical boat repairs, maintenance and upgrades for 11 meter RIBs. See attached SOW. QTY: 2 RIBs to include ID# 11MRIBAA00-063 and 11MRIBAA00-064. CLIN 0005: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0005 to inlcude engineering change proposal (ECP) for 11 meter RIBs. See attached SOW. QTY: 2 RIBs to include ID# 11MRIBAA00-063 and 11MRIBAA00-064. CLIN 0006: Contractor shall perform work required in accordance with Work Package 0006 to inlcude engineering change proposal (ECP) for 11 meter RIBs. See attached SOW. QTY: 2 RIBs to include ID# 11MRIBAA00-063 and 11MRIBAA00-064. Delivery: 60 days ARO FOB Point is Destination Boats will be transported via associated prime mover and boat trailer by the Government to and from repair facilities. Repair facilities shall be within a 30 mile radius of Naval Base Coronado, San Diego, CA 92155. The Government will inspect repaired/overhauled trailers and boats at contractor site. Except as specified herein, no order, statement, or conduct of Government personnel who visit the contractor's facilities or in any other manner communicates with Contractor personnel during the performance of this contract shall constitute a change under the Changes clause in Section I. In the event the Contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other the Contracting Officer, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment will be made in the contract price to cover any increase in cost incurred as a result thereof.
