- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 334510 (size standard 500 employees) that can offer same or similar medical equipment as described below: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, software to provide and set up in the Cardiology Interventional Laboratories of the Cardiology Section a mobile imaging platform utilizing optical coherent tomography for intravascular imaging of coronary arteries. The system will also include radiofrequency FFR assessment capabilities. This system is used for imaging the coronary arteries in patients who are candidates for transluminal interventional procedures. The system must provide: a.An imaging platform utilizing Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT) with FFR for intravascular imaging b.Mobile unit that can be moved from room to room c.A unit that combines both FFR and OCT modalities d.Wireless FFR set up in multiple labs e.A minimum of two monitors plus remote video ouput for multiple sightlines Interested companies should submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide the equipment, to install, and the delivery time to get the product to Houston, Texas. Also, firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, small disabled veteran owned businesses, etc.) This Sources sought is for informational purposes and all businesses able to provide this equipment are encouraged to submit information regardless of Business size. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
