- The proposed contract action is for commercial items, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit Caridian BCT. under the authority of FAR 13-106-(b)(1). Interested contractors/persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of interest is a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 04 June 2012, 12:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items contract, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-12-T-0780 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This requirement is for MFR Part # 80449 Trima Accel RBC/ Platelet/Plasma Set, MFR Part # 777-967-00 ACD-A Solution, 750 ml for the Radiology Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. This is a competitive, unrestricted action. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 325411, Size: 750. This is unrestricted procurement. Quotations are due on or before 04 June 2012, 12:00 AM. Eastern Standard Time to be considered responsive.
