- The IRS-Office of Procurement is soliciting sources who can provide Mobile Device Integtration Requirements to apply to solutions for managing an array of mobiloe devices, i.e. smartphones and tablets deployed throughtout the enterprise, especially iOS, Android and Windows Mobile devices as follows: Support for enterprise and personal use of a device. Complete separation of enterprise and personal use of a device, through sandbox, secure container, etc. technologies - preventing personal-use data from being transferred to the enterprise portion of the device and subsequently leaking into the enterprise and preventing enterprise data from being transferred to the personal-use portion of the device. - Prevention of Copy/Paste functionality between enterprise portion and personal portion. Secure Data at Rest - NIST certified FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption for enterprise data stored on the device. This includes any enterprise data that somehow gets placed on the device (short and long term storage) including cached information from web browsers, saved email messages and attachments, etc.. Secure Data in Transit - NIST certified FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption for all data transferred between the device and the enterprise. - Push-based (from enterprise to the device) Enterprise Email (currently Microsoft Exchange). - S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension) support for public key encryption and signing of MIME data. - Sync of enterprise email and calendar between the device and the enterprise email infrastructure. - Personal Information Manager (PIM) integration with enterprise email infrastructure (currently Microsoft Exchange). - Support for attachments, including the ability to create messages with attachments. - Document handling. - Read common MS Office file types (documents, spreadsheets, presentations) - Create and edit MS Office documents - Secure Browser for Intranet and Proxy-based Internet access - Secure browser that cannot be used/accessed by the personal-use portion of the device. - Secure storage of downloaded and cached data. - Compatible with HSPD12 - Ability to support use of Federally-mandated HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification ("PIV") smartcards for authentication functions and for email message encryption and digital signing, on mobile device platforms which can interface with PIV cards either natively or thru the use of peripheral smartcard readers. - Self-service capabilities. - User self-service provisioning of device and client installs. - User based S/MIME certificate management. - User self-service troubleshooting and reinstalls. - Mobile Device Management - Ability to secure, manage, monitor and otherwise support all types of mobile devices - smartphones, tablets, etc. - especially iOS, Android and Windows devices (must cover most popular consumer devices). This applies to government-owned and employee-owned (BYOD) devices. - Support for over-the-air (OTA) distribution of applications, data and configuration settings. - Central Remote Management with functionality that includes remote configuration and provisioning, remote lock and wipe, device provisioning, software installation, mobile asset tracking and management, troubleshooting and diagnostic tools, policy application, logging and reporting, etc. - Password Protection. - Enterprise Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence. - IM and Presence functionality that integrates with the enterprise unified. - messaging/convergence solution. - Audio and Video Conferencing. - Ability to perform audio and video conferencing integrated with the enterprise unified messaging/convergence solution. - File Share Support. - Ability to securely access and interact with enterprise file shares. - Support for Microsoft SharePoint, including SP 2003, MOSS 2007 and SP 2010. - Ability to securely access and interact with the enterprise Microsoft SharePoint infrastructures. - Volume Discount Pricing. - Ability to draw down, - Annual Maintenance. - Site License. It is empjazized that this is RFI is NOT a aRequest for Proposal, quotation, or invitation for Bid. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only, subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3 entitled Solicitation for Information or Planning Purposes. This RFI is NOT to be constured as a commitment bty the Government to enter into a contractual agreement, nor will the Government pay for information submitted in response to this RFI. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto.
