- The Department of Commerce, NOAA/NOS Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research, Cooperative Oxford Laboratory, Oxford MD has a requirement for miscellaneous ship repairs on board the NOAA R/V LAIDLY as described in the statement of works provided with the solicitation. Award of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required delivery date 28 from the date of award. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about June 8, 2012. The applicable NAICS number is 336611 and the small size standard is 1,000 employees. The Federal Supply Class is 1925. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small business. The request for quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
