Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724, issued a sole source award to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5), 'when a statute expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made through another agency or from a specified source', as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5. For this action, 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), known as the Veterans First Contracting Program, provides the authority to directly contract with a SDVOSB. Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract VA118-12-C-0035, was awarded to Teknoworks, Inc., 7032 River Oak Ct., Clarksville, Maryland 21029 for technical and administrative services to review and analyze Office of Management and Budget (OMB) IT Capital Plan (Exhibit 300) business case, the OIS segment of the VA IT Investment Portfolio (Exhibit 53) and other VA specific budget documents that provide financial data in support of budget formulation and execution.
